Welcome to EasyRelationship, a mobile application (the "App") that is available for download on the Apple App Store. The App was designed with the purpose of assisting education, and should by no means be used with the intent of violating academic dishonesty policies. By using the App, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.
The App is a free-to-download mobile application that offers users the ability to purchase in-app items and features (the "In-App Purchases").
The App offers In-App Purchases that can be made through the Apple App Store. These In-App Purchases are subject to the terms and conditions of the Apple App Store, as well as these Terms. You must have a valid payment method on file with the Apple App Store in order to make any In-App Purchases.
We attach great importance to users' data security and personal privacy. The app will store users' emotional diary content in the cloud, including photos taken and uploaded by users. All transmission processes and storage are encrypted. You can contact us at any time to export or permanently delete your private data. Moreover, when users cancel their accounts, these data will be synchronously and permanently deleted.
Collection, Use, and Retention of Face Data:
Data Collection: Our app allows users to upload photos (including selfies) to record their emotional state. When you use the "Emotion Analysis" feature, we collect the images you upload, which may contain your facial features (Face Data). We do not collect facial geometry, depth maps, or biometric identifiers used for authentication (such as Face ID).
Purpose of Use: The collected face data (images) is used solely for the purpose of providing the app's core functionality: Emotion Analysis. The images are processed to interpret emotional cues (e.g., happy, sad, anxious) to help you track your mood and improve interpersonal relationships. We do not use your face data for marketing, advertising, or any other purpose not explicitly authorized by you.
Disclosure to Third Parties: To perform the emotion analysis, the images are securely transmitted to our third-party AI processing provider, OpenAI, Microsoft Azure, DeepSeek, and Aliyun. This provider is strictly bound by data protection agreements and processes the data solely for the purpose of analysis. We do not share, sell, or trade your face data with any data brokers, advertising platforms, or other unauthorized third parties.
Data Retention and Storage:
Processing: Images sent to the AI provider are processed ephemerally and are not used to train their AI models (in accordance with enterprise privacy standards). Storage: If you choose to save the analysis result to your journal, the image and the analysis result are stored encrypted on our secure Google Cloud servers associated with your account. Retention: The data is retained only as long as your account is active or until you choose to delete the specific journal entry. You can delete your data at any time within the app, which will permanently remove it from our servers.
The App and all content and materials included in the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, are the property of the App's owner or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. You may not use any content or materials in the App for any commercial purpose without the express written consent of the App's owner.
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The App's owner and its licensors make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the App or the information, content, materials or products included in the App. You expressly agree that your use of the App is at your sole risk.
In no event shall the App's owner or its licensors be liable for any damages of any kind, including without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages, arising out of or in connection with the use of the App or the purchase of In-App Purchases.
